After recently hosting the hugely succesful ‘Clouds & Louis Louis’ night at Joshua Brooks, Manchester’s most forward-thinking promoters, Banana, are back. Banana head Henry Douek, has embraced the most positive approach towards hosting, believing that a party should be a party and that if people want to party with the DJ’s, let them. Tomorrow night, the crew host Detboi (Cheap Thrills) with there own impressive roster of producers and DJ’s supporting; Wonky Ninja, Average White Guy, Patchwork and Goulcher. We also recently discovered that the Banana posse are taking over Poland for one night only, 12th October, as they host Szczecin’s ‘Medication’ night. Aside from European domination, Banana are also starting ‘Banana Records’ before the end of the year, with the first EP’s coming from Turn To Standy, Wonky Ninja and Average White Guy. All in all, the boys of Banana have a lot to be excited about right now, and as a result, so do we.
